Whistler Proposal & Engagement Session

Inspired by the 1956 musical romcom High Society, Michael and Gaby’s iconic proposal moment was the perfect way to pay homage to the trendy style of the couple. After 12 years of loving each other, Michael curated the dreamy visit to the Four Seasons Whistler where he popped the question on the balcony of the Blackcomb suite with the incredible sun setting on the horizon. Shortly after the intimate moment, I joined them for some portraits to capture the high of the moment and they shared champagne and made delicious White Russian inspired cocktails in celebration! Gabriella’s ring is a stunning Cartier Solitaire 1895 on a band of pavé diamonds and the gal has an incredible sense of fashion. Make sure to follow her work at her blog: Postcards from Hawaii!

The following week, I returned to Whistler for an engagement session in the sunshine amidst the snow! We visited Nita Lake, a hidden gem and the Four Seasons resort. More magic was made and the pair enjoyed walking around in the great outdoors. Can’t wait to return to Whistler for many more shoots!
